Workshop on handling and storing sensitive data in collaborative research projects

CHORD talk in interaction

The CHORD-talk-in-interaction project has organised its fourth workshop, which is going to take place at USI Università della Svizzera italiana on April 29th, 2024, from 10am to 12pm. The hybrid event can be attended on site or virtually via Zoom and features Katharina Lobinger, an expert on visual online communication, as guest speaker. Lobinger will report on her experience with collecting, storing, and publishing sensitive (visual) data as compiled in her SNF-funded study Visualised relationships - social uses and conflicts. A repertoire-oriented study of visual and image-related communication between close friends and couples in Switzerland. After the one-hour presentation there will be room for discussion and exchange on ethical issues at various stages of a scientific study.

The event is organised by Sara Greco, CHORD member and  director of the USI Institute of Argumentation, Linguistics and Semiotics (IALS). For details and the registration form please click here.
